| Company History The Susquehanna Group, L.L.C. was originally founded in 1974 as Termark Security Systems, Inc. located in Middletown, Pennsylvania, we moved operations to South Florida in 1980. The business continued to grow and in 1995 we formed a second division (Termark International, Inc.) dedicated exclusively to consulting and training services. The end of the century brought about changes in direction for our company with the sale of our original installing company in favor of concentration exclusively to our consulting and training businesses. In 2004, our name changed to the Susquehanna Group, L.L.C. Field Offices are maintained in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wyoming. Our name, Susquehanna, originates from the Susquehannock tribe of Native Americans and the longest river on the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. Management Bios Our company is managed and directed by our Senior Consultant, Terry L. Mrakovich, PhD, CPP PSP CSP CHS-III Dr. Mrakovich is board certified by ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional and as a Physical Security Professional. One of only 180 dual certified ASIS professionals in the world. Additionally he hold certifications from the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association as a Certified Security Professional; The American Board for Certification in Homeland Security a division of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute as a Certified in Homeland Security - Level 3 and NICET - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies as a Video Security Systems Designer. He is a thirty year member of the IEEE, active in numerous professional associations, including ASIS International, Inc. serving as Chapter 104 Board Member and Officer for many years. Member of USASBE and American Building Security Council. Additionally he sits on the Security Industry Association's CCTV, Access Control, and Biometrics Industry Groups and the Consultants Executive Council of the National Systems Contractors Association, and the IEEE Conference on Homeland Security providing guidance and direction. Mr. Mrakovich is a Vietnam veteran, his formal education includes a PhD from Berkley, two Master of Science degrees one in Engineering Management and the second in Security Management, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Associate in Arts degree in Marketing and Loss Prevention. Additionally he holds Certificates from the U.S. Naval Training School, Bainbridge, MD and Thompson Institute, Harrisburg, PA not to mention various post graduate studies at numerous educational institutions around the nation. Exclusive of any other team member, Mr. Mrakovich individually has over 35 years of security industry experience, having held management, engineering and project management positions with various national and international concerns. Prior to commencing his security career Mr. Mrakovich was V.P. of Flight Operations for Markair; President of Multisports International; a Quality Control Electrical Engineer with both United Engineers and Constructors, Inc. and Catalytic, Inc at nuclear power plants; a naval specification engineer and provisioner with Unified Industries, Inc and a broadcast engineer and announcer at numerous radio stations in the Northeast US. He currently holds State Certified Electrical and/or Alarm Contractor status with the states of Florida ( Alarm Contractor Licence #1), Georgia and North Carolina. Previously held Certified Alarm Contractor status with the both South Carolina and Tennessee prior to the sale of his installing company. | David R Sandt, PMP Programs and Project Management Mr. David R. Sandt is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) since June 1993, as credentialed by the Project Management Institute (www.pmi.org). He has many years of direct project management experience in the telecommunications, security, and information technology industries. He has coordinated project activities within multinational corporations to engineer, furnish, and install telephony switching, optical networking, video teleconferencing, and security systems worldwide. He has simultaneously managed multiple projects at locations throughout the Americas, and in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. David holds a MBA from Southern Illinois University, a BA from Penn State University and two Masters Certificates in Project Management, the first from George Washington University and the second from Stevens Institute of Technology. Specifically, in the security realm, Mr. Sandt managed a digital video recorder (DVR) project at a United States Penitentiary, replacing the closed circuit television (CCTV) video tape- based recording system with a DVR system. He also managed other DVR projects for several museums in the Washington, DC, area. He was the manager of projects to install an under vehicle surveillance system at a military installation, and of two other projects to install security equipment for United States Forces in Iraq to include CCTV, remote entry control, and blast-rated vehicle gates. Mr. Sandt is retired from the United States Air Force. As a former air force intelligence officer, he is practiced in intelligence collection, applications, and reporting; threat analysis; airborne battle staff team management and training; and emergency actions procedures. As a former air force logistics officer, and from his time as a civilian project manager, Mr. Sandt has acquired a sound knowledge of systems life cycle management, inventory management, asset distribution, transportation, mobility, and planning. Mr. Sandt has an extensive history in dealing with customers from within the federal government…from the various military and civilian agencies. Mr. Sandt is skilled as a contract administrator and subcontract manager, practiced in ensuring contract compliance, preparing proposals and statements of work, and managing cost accounts and claims settlements.
